SUMMARY

Complete dentures are the main method of treatment of edentulous patients. Unfortunately, many of them are struggling with unsatisfactory stabilization of those prosthodontic appliances, difficulties with speech and food consumption, excessive pressure on the mucosa of the alveolar ridge and adjacent tissues. The ideal solution for patients struggling with these problems is the Denture Comfort™ system that is an overdenture leaning on the mini implants. In this article we describe a case of a patient with atrophic alveolar ridges, with whom we used the mentioned above approach to rebuild edentulous maxilla. We also present the advantages of the Denture Comfort™ system and its superiority over other known methods of implantoprosthodontic rehabilitation of edentulous patients.
